April 17, 2008- Test results

So, I got my test results yesterday for my 3 hour glucose tolerance test.  It turns out I have Gestational Diabetes.  I picked up my glucometer today but I really don't won't know how to keep my sugar correct until I meet with the diabetes nurse and the nutritionist on Thursday.

    You have Diabetes? Helen said- not to worry your #s are very good. She should know she is in the medical field. It was a relief to me. So don't worry. Love Dad

    I would just do what your doctor says and you will be fine. The cool thing is that GB goes away right after you have the baby. So, tell Drew to bring you a nice sugary milkshake to the hospital! Hey, you need to post more often!
